How SmartSale Works
SmartSale allows sales representatives, customers and publishers to prepare their orders in a simple Excel spreadsheet format and then transmit them to the distributor via a dedicated email address.
Orders are collected and automatically processed through the system within seconds of their receipt. An acknowledgement is emailed back to the user as confirmation that the order has been safely received. The order will be re-directed immediately to a customer services representative for resolution and released back into the SmartSale system, in the event of there being a problem with the order (for example if an account number was omitted).
Electronic order forms are also available to allow customers to send bulk and scale out orders (these can be prepared to a hold specific list of titles).
