TBS and GBS are delighted to announce the acquisition of a 30% stake in Bounce! Sales and Marketing, the UK’s leading specialist children’s sales and marketing agency.

Bounce! currently represents over 20 independent children’s publishers. Since forming in 2002, its sales turnover has grown to in excess of £10 million. By joining forces with a larger organisation, Bounce! will be better placed to support its independent publishers and booksellers. This arrangement, effective immediately, will enable Bounce! to introduce new services, initiatives and enter new areas of the children’s book market. In return, TBS and GBS are able to offer their clients more extensive sales and marketing services.

Publishers covered by the umbrella Bounce! contract with MDL (Birdcage Press, Book House, b small publishing, Catnip Publishing, Chapel House Bookmarks, Jane Nissen Books, Myroy Books, National Maritime Museum (Children’s), Pupfish, Red Robin Books) will move to GBS in due course. Bounce! will continue to operate as an independent self-contained business from its London office, with Robert Snuggs as Managing Director and Julie Anderson as Operations Director. Rob Phillips, Managing Director at GBS, will join the Bounce! board in a non-executive capacity.
